Why install risers over your septic system?

Installing risers over your septic system eliminates the need to located and dig your septic tank each time it needs servicing. They also provide quick/easy access to your system in the event of a back up or blockage. Most issues occur either at the inlet (where the sludge enters your tank) or the outlet (where the affluent leaves the tank). Having easy access to both of these areas provides piece of mind, knowing that potential issues can be located and mended quickly.

Mobile Dewatering

Dewatering is an Eco-friendly and cost efficient solution for your water separation needs. Using advanced geo-textile technology, Bio-Liquid Waste Disposal’s dewatering services are faster, cheaper and more efficient than traditional belt press dewatering.

Bio-Liquid Waste: Dewatering

Weather you’re looking to remove contaminated solids, sediment or other solids from a body of water; geotextile dewatering can work for you. The process is simple and allows over 99 per cent of solids to be retained within the geotextile bag. The result: clear water – in some cases, so clean that it doesn’t require any additional treatment before it can be reused or returned to its original waterway!

Bio-Liquid Waste Disposal’s dewatering services are mobile and can easily come to you. We offer geotextile bags in a variety of sizes to suit your needs.

Bio-Liquid Waste: Dewatering
Dewatering is an affordable, simple and effective solution for many issues you can be facing.

These include:

  • Environmental remediation
  • Emergency situations (floods, spills)
  • Lagoon clear out (industrial, farming)
  • Waste water treatment
  • Water recirculation

How does it work?

1. PUMPING: The sludge or dredged substance is pumped into an empty geotextile bag and is blended with polymer. These polymers help to group the solids together while allowing the water to separate.

Bio-Liquid Waste: Dewatering

2. DEWATERING: As the polymer binds the solids together, clear water escapes from the geotextile bag. Over 99% of the solids remain in the bag Producing water that can often be reused without additional treatment.

Bio-Liquid Waste: Dewatering

3. SOLIDIFYING: Once all pumping and dewatering has finished, the solids remain in the bag and can continue to condense. Soon they can easily be removed to a landfill, distributed on site, or in come cases land-applied.

Other Services

Bio-Liquid Waste Disposal also provides the following services:

Pump and inspect septic tanks , holding tanks

At Bio-Liquid Waste Disposal we take the time to do things proper. Not only do we pump your tank, but we will also back flush and pump again to make sure we got everything the first time. You don’t need to be calling us a couple months down the road looking for another pump because everything was not done in the first place.

Computerize reminder notices for regular maintenance

Out of sight, Out of mind. But you don’t have to worry about “When should I have my tank pumped again. At Bio-Liquid Waste, we will send you a reminder notice to inform you when you had your last service and that it is time to get it pumped again. It is recommended that your tank be pumped out every 3-5 years.

Pump sewage treatment plants

You will find such plants in communities and also some businesses will have their own waste treatment plants. Where we fit in is when the tank is full, we pump the material and place it in our lagoon system.

Catch basins

A catch basin (a.k.a., storm drain inlet, curb inlet) is an inlet to the storm drain system that typically includes a grate or curb inlet where stormwater enters the catch basin and a sump to capture sediment, debris and associated pollutants. They are also used in combined sewer watersheds to capture floatables and settle some solids. Sometimes they can become clogged and we can pump these out as well.

Restaurant grease traps

A grease trap works by slowing down the flow of warm/hot greasy water and allowing it to cool. As the water cools, the grease and oil separate and float to the top of the grease trap. The cooler water (less grease) continues to flow down the pipe to the sewer. The grease is actually trapped by baffles, which cover the inlet and outlet of the tank, preventing grease from flowing out of the trap. It is important that you clean your grease traps regularly.

Locate & uncover septic tanks

We use a mini excavator to dig up the covers. It’s lightweight and the size makes it the perfect tool for the job.

Install risers

If you don’t want to dig up your lawn every time you need your tank pumped, then you should install a riser over the tank. This can be covered with a minimal amount of soil or some will even leave it above the ground and put a planter around it to dress it up. This will also save you money because we don’t have to come out with our mini-excavator to dig up the cover.

Outlet filter installation

The septic tank filter is a passive device designed to maximize bacterial digestion of septic tank waste. Septic tank waste is typically domestic sewage and its treatment is normally accomplished by using aerobic oxidation. Ask us for recommendations on different types of filters.

Emergency service available

Don’t fret. If you are having a backup or other septic tank related issues that can’t be fixed by traditional methods, than give us a call and we will try our best to rectify the situation for you as expedient as we can. Just call 863-2856.

Excavation work

With our mini-excavator you don’t have to worry about your lawn being torn apart by bigger and heavier machines. With the rubber tracks and light weight we can come right on your lawn to plant that tree that you did not want to dig the hole for by hand with little to no damage done. It is also the perfect machine to dig trenches close to the house. Because of its profile we can dig almost right up against the building.
